On November 8, 2024, Venture Together hosted the Harvesting Joy Charity Auction & Gala at the Pearl Ballroom in Pearl River, NY. Thanks to the generosity and support of our donors, sponsors, and attendees, it was an evening filled with inspiration, community, and celebration.
Together, we endeavored to support our Equestrian, Summer Camp, and Employment Readiness programs, which make a lasting impact on the individuals and families we serve. The evening was a resounding success, thanks to Venture’s Board, Staff, and participants in this wonderful event.
Event Highlights
The Harvesting Joy Auction was an extraordinary evening, showcasing the heart of Venture Together’s mission.
The evening opened with a series of musical performances by Venture individuals, whose talents lit up the ballroom and served as a powerful reminder of the skills, creativity, and spirit of the individuals Venture supports. Accompanying their amazing performances, guests were deeply moved by heartfelt speeches from Dario Mazurek, Chair of the Board of Directors, and Matt Shelley, CEO of Venture Together. Both highlighted the life-changing impact of the programs highlighted during the evening and thanked the Venture community for their unwavering support.
The charity auction was the centerpiece of the event, with guests competing for unique items and experiences that generated significant contributions for Venture Together. Attendees also enjoyed participating in the 50/50 raffle and the always-popular wine pull, which added a fun and exciting energy to the night.
The execution of the event was thanks to the dedication and hard work of the Venture Together Board of Directors, and especially our Board Fundraising Committee, who ensured every detail contributed to the evening’s success.
