Hi 👋 Julie Langdon here, Assistant Recreation Director at Camp Venture. Summer camp has something for everyone to enjoy! Everyone’s favorite activity is swimming and playing on the splash pad, but Camp has so much more to offer.
Campers rotate to different activities throughout the day. There is basketball and sports. Arts and crafts (recently, Campers painted with baking soda paints!). Over at our Science activity, Campers made lava lamps! To keep cool, Campers played on a bubble slip and slide during Adventure’s with Adam while another group enjoyed riding horses in our equestrian center.
There were board games and dancing at Playtime with Porter. Campers relaxed and played with blowing bubbles. Others enjoyed playing on the playground where they climb on the jungle gym, swing, and play with friends.
At the end of the day, the most important thing about Camp is the friendships formed. Even on a rainy day, the Camper’s smiles keep Camp Venture a Place in the Sun!
