Chief Human Resources Officer
Lisa started at Venture Together in 1987, working seasonally as she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego. In Lisa’s early years with Venture Together, she was fortunate to have worked under the Executive Secretary for the agency’s founder, Kathleen Lukens. Lisa obtained her Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling in 1993 and became the Director of Personnel in 1995.
As the agency matured and expanded, Lisa’s title evolved into Director of Human Resources. In January of 2017, Lisa achieved SHRM-CP professional certification through the Society for Human Resource Management by meeting the experience, education and demonstrated HR Competency and Knowledge requirements as established by SHRM. In June of 2020, Lisa was named as the Chief Human Resources Officer.
