The primary role of the CNA/Shift Supervisor is to supervise Direct Support Professionals in a residential setting ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and that agency policy and procedures are followed during the shift.
Agency Minimum Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets agency insurance company driving requirement. Must successfully participate in Orientation and pass all required testing.

CNA/ Shift Supervisor – Residential
QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) certication. Experience working with people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred. Previous supervisory experience a plus. Must demonstrate excellent communication and good leadership skills and have a professional work ethic. AMAP Certification is required (will train).
JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the CNA/Shift Supervisor is to supervise Direct Support Professionals in a residential setting ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and that agency policy and procedures are followed during the shift. The CNA/Shift Supervisor acts as a role model and mentor for the direct support staff, fostering a team approach to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the residence. The CNA/Shift Supervisor works closely with the Residential Director to resolve program issues or concerns in an efficient manner.
The CNA/Shift Supervisor reports to the Residential Director.
