Venture Together, Inc. is a private non-profit organization that provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We offer residential, day, community habilitation, respite and employment services, an equestrian program as well as an integrated summer camp. 

Agency Requirements

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the agency’s insurance company driving standards. Must successfully participate in Orientation and pass all required testing.

DIRECTOR OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s Level degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology or Counseling or another related field.  Minimum of five years’ experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.  Minimum of two years’ experience developing behavior plans.  Knowledge of MS Word, excellent writing skills, good people skills, must be extremely well organized, self-starter able to work with a minimal level of direct supervision.  Must have a clean driver’s license and be able to use own vehicle for business purposes (reimbursed by Venture Together for mileage). 

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Psychological Services will be responsible for oversight of all psychological services provided by Venture Together.  The Director of Psychological Services will provide a wide variety of tasks including ensuring OPWDD regulatory compliance, development/oversight and monitoring of behavioral support plans, conduct semi-annual medication reviews, ensure consent for use of medication and staff training. Additionally, the Director of Psychological Services will provide direct supervision of the Behavioral Intervention Specialists.

The Director of Psychological Services will report to the Chief Program Officer.

Salary range: $76,000 – $80,000 per year

Location: Rockland County, NY

Full Time: 40 hours per week (Flexible)
